I've got a 01' and this morning the fuel gauge started going nuts driving along and about once a minute the gauge will drop from full to empty and the low fuel light comes on for about 10- 20 seconds I know the tank is fulll I just filled it 40 miles ago and it continues to do this. Anybody have a diagram of where the connecters are? I was thinking it acts like a bad connection but it is so consistent I'm doubting it.I don't feel like dropping the tank and replaceing the sending unit if it could be somthing else. Help

I have had this happen 3 times now. Each time covered by warranty.
When I took the truck into the Censored Censored they said it could be the gauge or the sending unit. It ended up beeing the sending unit all 3 times.

mine is messed up too!!!

Appearantly they are having issues with sending units. I had to have mine replaced too.

And here I was thinking it was a grounding issue. Had that happen on the older truck.
