A buddy has a new 6.0 with edge. At scheid he started to notice a plume of white smoke on start up and rev up. What could it be. He said on the way home he turned his edge off, or back to 0 actually and it quit. Any ideas for him?

Thats what happened. Truck has 8,000 miles on it. I think he went to trade it back for a Duramax on Saturday. HE had too much bad luck. Nice truck, but could not stay together.
