Just wondering if anybody had a good listing of Iowa or midwest diesel truck pulls? I heard rumors of Rockwell & Plainfield pulls in Iowa this weekend and went searchin to see if the smokers would be included and came up with little info. I'm not afraid to travel hours to watch, but wanna make sure the diesel trucks will be there!

Don't know exactly where your at in Iowa but are local pulling orginization pulled in southern iowa twice over the 4th of july weekend with diesel pickups. They were in Clearfeild and New Market. Go to NWMTPA.COM for more info. There are other southern iowa pulls later in the summer.

There is a fantasy truck pullers pull tonight in arlington, ia starts at 7:00 they have a 2.6 and a 3.0 class

There is a pull in humbolt on saturday the july 30th and a truck pull in algona on aug 3rd. Not sure about next weekend.

Does the humboldt pull have any good trucks, is it worth going? And wheres the one in algona is it the fair or somethin.

Last year my buddy won at humboldt, two years ago was twin turbo doge suppose to be 800hp made a great pass. ALways good turn out of trucks at humboldt and algona pull is at fair grounds.

Thanks for all the input guys! Got a good schedule printed out now & will try to get to as many events as possible. The Fantasy pull at Arlington last Friday was pretty good but i was a little disappointed in the diesel truck turnout. 4 trucks pulled at the beginning of the show (7:00) and then 3 pulled the 3.0 class which was last (11:00 or midnight). Was a long drive home....
Got any ideas where most of the smoker trucks show up at or is it just simply "luck of the draw"?

Ya the fantasy show was a dissapointment. I was late and didnt have time to set up my
truck for the 2.6 class. But the truck did well in the open class. Manchester will have a full day of hooks
