Was detailing the truck today and I noticed that there is a small ink mark on the of the drivers seat. I have no idea how it got there and I have no idea how I'm going to get it off. I have tried leather cleaner as well as a general purpose interior cleaner but have had no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll give you some advise on what NOT TO USE.
A guy on another forum used one of those Mr.Clean Magic Erasers...... took the dye right out of his leather.

DO NOT USE ONE OF THOSE!!!

But I would think that a damp cloth with some hand soap should work if you took your time?

Did you happen to wear brand-new blue jeans in the truck lately? I've noticed small area in the seats in my truck like that....looks like the previous owner didn't care very much.

Well, so far, still no luck. I have tried soap and tide and still haven't gotten the stain out. Truck was a the dealer last week and I'm pretty sure that's where it happened since I don't even keep a pen in my truck and I'm the only one who drives it.

I am not sure if this will fade the leather, but I have used bug spray to clean permanant marker off of plastic and metal. You may want to try this on somthing less expensive or in a spot that wont be seen.

Where I work we build the seats for the Nissan plant and we have used hairsrpay to get ink off of seats. It works pretty good if it has'nt been there to long and set out in the sun to much, but I would try it somewhere that can't be seen first just to make sure it isn't a different kind of material than we use.

Hairspray has worked for me in the past, both in the vehicles and in the house (couch, etc.). Test an inconspicuous (sp?) spot first, though.

Try rubbing alcohol, works on laundry and other things.
