My PS Windows wouldn't go up or down today... I started looking and found the 50A MBEC fuse under the hood was blown. When I replaced it, now they work. They (the PS windows) SEEM to be the only thing that died. Any ideas what couldn't blown it?

Today I discovered what was blowing the MBEC fuse. Apparently, there's a wire that shorts behind the parking brake. Today I put the parking brake on, and I immediatley noticed something flicker... Checked and no PS windows or seat movement. Before I go start tearing my truck apart, is there any specific area around the parking brake I should concentrate my search around?

I have had that same problem. I had a short under the plastic floor molding just inside the drivers door. The wire loom had rubbed through against a metal bracket. GM runs the passenger side controls under the plastic molding by the drivers seat and then across. Hope this helps.
