While at the Diesel Drags yesterday I ran across a 94 6.5 running 11.5sec/68MPH in the 1/8 mile. The guy also had the dyno slip showing his 275HP/615ft/pds of torque at the rear wheels!

His setup:

94 C2500 6.5 (with camper shell!!)
SSDiesel PROM set for 90% duty cycle and 5 degrees of timing (this is how he explained it)
GM4 that will hit 30 pounds of boost!
Stock injectors
4.10 gears
Unplugs the IAT while racing

He had a noticable about of black smoke off the line (with some tire spin) then just a little down the track.

This is much higher than I expected! He said he has blown the head gasket 3 times now.

Did he have an intercooler or H2O injection? Thats putting out for 21.5-1 engine!

He had the dyno slip, who knows maybe he printed it on his computer!

No intercooler or N20.

If he can make 30 psi with the std turbo he's not making any power or moving any air...

30 psi Absolute? or Gauge. 15#psig=30psia. If he's tellin ya 'g', look to see if has a fishin' pole hidden behind his back. . . 'cause this sounds like a whopper.

that all seems kinda hoky, a little far fetched but, hey, he ran those times. I have to give him that.
