I've been waiting for a LBZ like quite a few other people. According to this web site

the LLY motors are on hold and have been for quite a while.
So does that posting means that they aren't making anymore LLY motors? Or that they aren't putting anymore LLY motors in the trucks coming off the line? Inquiring minds want to know. Maybe someone with access to some of the password protected GM sites can find out.

See you are from the Sacramento area. Was at the state fair last week and talked with the Chevy rep there. Asked about the LLY"s being on hold and he immediately got on his cell phone and called some high engineer in the black hole and said absolutely not. Still making the motor. He also said that the LBZ can be ordered after the 13th of September. They also had an 06 diesel truck to look at. Seemed to be in the know and even said he drove an 06 LBZ and said it was awesome. Didn't seem like a BSer or a salesman. Go to the fair and get some facts. Go to the Chevrolet display and not the GMC display as you enter.

F.Y.I. We just shipped & are tracking HOME a 2006 G.M.C. regular cab D/A from Pontiac east yesterday. Going to CA. E.T.A. = 9/03. Hope that answers your question? Howard

Thanks Howard. I thought that might be bogus information about the LLY's being on hold. Just shows you can't believe everything you read on the net.
