Looking for a set of braided steel brake lines for my 05 C2500HD to try to get a little better pedal feel. Geedridge doesn't list a part number and neither does Baer. Anyone found a set for our trucks??

You might also try Stainless Steel Brake Corporation (SSBC).
http://www.ssbrakes.com/

They are coming up with some upgrades for the larger trucks and may offer this piece. I have sent an email to them asking if they offer or will offer the parts you are asking about. I'll post if they respond.

ZR1150: Thanks for the link. I only saw part numbers for 1500 trucks though. Do they list lines for our HDs somewhere else perhaps?

HeartbeatHauler: Thanks for the help. Let us know if SSBC gets back to you with any info!!

Any good Hydraulic service shop that sells Aeroquip can make you up a set.

Just bring in sample rubber OEM hoses and they will match them up with the correct fittings and hose.

Mine are made by Crown Performance. You can't order directly through them, so I ordered from Keith at www.xtremecrawlers.com. For some reason their webpage isn't working right now. The lines are both Kevlar and Stainless Steel. You can get different colors on the outer covering also. I got green because my truck is green, but their smoke looks really cool. Mine were 6" longer than factory and were $130 plus shipping. For our trucks it's a 3 piece kit. But, there are still rubber lines on the rear axle, so it would be more if you wanted those also.
The pedal feels a little bit stiffer, but not much. The lines are great quality though and I'd definately buy them again.

That's what I think I'm going to end up doing. There's a good hose/fitting shop near me in the San Fernando Valley that should be able to get it done. I just thought it would be a little easier if someone had an in-stock part number for these . . .

Didnt GM refuse to work on any vet with stainless brake lines, something to do with the ABS not working properly?????

I received word back from Stainless Steel Brakes and they really don't do brake lines just the brake conversions, but he did point me in the right direction. Check out their response:

We don't do much with the brake lines. We're mainly in the disc brake conversion business. You can call Classic Tube @ 1-800-tubes11. They will have them for you. Hopefully we can help you in the future.
