OK my twins are hungry I keep blowing the DRIVER SIDE LOWER INTERCOOLER BLUE BOOT "elbow" apart not off apart. This is number 2 now and its getting expensive the GM ones cant take the abuse. So my question is to you guys with BIG TWINS is what are you guys using for boots and where do I get it asap. Also what kind of boost are you seeing? I am flat out burying a 60psi gauge so it's time for a 100 psi one I suppose. This is all with the stock charger and a s480 with a race cover tuned by Idaho Rob.
Thank you for any and all your help guys!

Jake, Spray that thing with some hairspray! It seems to work holding them on but I'm not sure about when they rip like yours did i have seen some people wrap them with gorilla tape:eek:.

Thank you that seems to the senses over at DF as well tape the hell out it and put some wide zip ties on it. I just hate rigging stuff it always seems to fail. Also I have a bad memory have we met before my apology's?

Use a good boot. Or cover that thing with boot clamps. Best of all.....talk with Trent Nell at Extreme Prejudice Racing, have him build you a good pipe that uses very short boots. He did one for my 366 that's a straight shot into the intercooler with only about 1" gap.

agree rebuild that pipe so there isn't an elbow in it. made it so you can use a short straight boot. That is a problem child and I haven't found a boot that will hold big boost at that spot. Has to be the elbow, rips them just like your picture.

I blew 3 apart just like yours with small twins. I bought the AFE tube, there tube gets rid of the bend and uses a straight boot. I never had a problem after I did it.
