I got my carter lift pump installed today. It took a bit longer then I expected. I didn't have a lisle tool but I did have another fuel disconnect tool that didn't work so I had to make my own. Censored
It seems to smoke quite a bit more and quite a bit blacker then before. Seat of the pants I can't really tell if it improved or not. I've done a few different things in the past few days and I would say it is definitely running faster then a few days ago. (Secret squirl stuff, don't ask ):h )
It is loud but not as loud as I expected by what I read here. Once then engine is running you can barely hear it. If you didn't know what the sound was you wouldn't even notice.
It's nice not having to prime it anymore!
