i have the insight cs(monitor only) since x-mas 2010. monitor has worked great up untill now. about a month ago i went to start the truck, and before i pulled out of the driveway i noticed the monitor was not on. button lights where on and when you pressed a button you could hear it beep. shut the truck off, restarted and the monitor came back alive. had this happen a few times. then yesterday the monitor was dead again. buttons still had light and you could hear the been when pressed. monitor would not come on for about an hour. today the monitor was alive but it kept getting bright then dim. i have the autodim to 0% and it was still doing it. has anyone ever had this problem?

Call EDGE. There is a bad resistor or something on the early ones, I've read. Similar symptoms to what your seeing, so I'd start there.
