I have a 03 V-Rod that I just upgrade my stock exhaust to Rinehart 2 into 2 stagered. I now know I need to get it tuned on a dyno and just wanted what the process might entail. I think if anyone that has a Fuel Injected V-Twin can assist me.

I had a shop re-map my buell when I put the drummer exhaust on it... mainly because it leaned out to where the ECM could not compensate when above 40% throttle and from 3400 through redline (7100) with the factory mapping. The headers would glow cherry red and it had nasty decel popping at first. Some have used a wideband O2 sensor with success, others just remap. They used a tuner called ECM Spy which is to the buell world what EFI is to the Dmax world.

Find a good v-twin shop that can do dyno tuning... I'm not familiar with the v-rod, but there is most likely a similar tuner available that allows changes to the fuel map in your ecm.

the hd super tuner is the one that allows changes to the existing efi map, lots of guys have great success with that one but many others also have good success with the ones that plug into the stock harness and alter the signal from the ecm to make the adjustments such as the power commander or accel slm, vance and hines fuel pack etc. lots of guys like the power commander with the auto tune it works really nicely.

another good system to look into is the thundermax stand alone system but pricey.

I talked to a Tuner in Winchester, VA and he mentioned to me that they use TTS-Master Tune System and Dyno the bike. It's Google time.
