:D ):h :ro) 1093's are way too easy to get, (pump not here yet) tranny seems to shift much firmer/quicker. Good Lord at the soot. it'll make you giggle like a lil girl.

yes siree, I would have to agree with that judging with the sotp meter. One thing I did notice it dosen't read a 1093. I know I set a few but it won't show on the PPE. Hey McRat, what is the trick to clearing the 1093 w/o a code reader/clearer, until my pump gets here and installed? I know its something with cycling key, or cranking over, ust can't remember or find it.

Turn your truck on and off 3 times.

HOWEVER, the PPE unit can reset the code, even when you are driving.

I don't seem to be able to reset the 1093 w/my ppe either. It says no codes shown, and won't let you clear anything. I've tried the 3 times thing too no avail. Only thing seems to work with mine is cycling key 20 times.

The predator does it, but I sold that:(

Any help for my thick skull would be appreciated.

Mine does the same thing too. The bully dog tuner I have does the same thing as does an actron scanner I have. Predator is the only thing I had that would read and clear them.

On my PPE it just says no codes found. Hopefully the J/K pump that's on the way will help if not solve it. Do you have a lift pump?

I do have a pump, but only use it on the strip. It's a carter, and makes some noise. I've never thrown a 1093 with that pump running. Next time I'm towing, I'll run it so I don't get run over.

Odd. I just cleared P1093's with a PPE while I was doing some testing yesterday. It certainly cleared them.

Are you guys setting the 1093's as often as I am? I can give it 3/4 throttle and set it EVERY time.I have to drive very conservatively to avoid setting it. The turning off truck for 30 seconds has worked every time now(3) to git rid of the 2k rpms. PPE will still not even show that a code is set. Predator always showed" P1093, unknown error." I can't wait to install my pump I sure hope it helps.
P.S. This is all with edge on 0 and low boost on 1, tranny defuel none. It smokes much more than edge/predator did, both on kill.

Do tell,I missed this one,I'm still getting some bursting and 1093's with my Edge?predator stack and FASS pump. Getting ready to switch to a VA/PPE stack. Any help will be appreciated(sp).:)

Yes Shim mod. Yes, PPE only. PPE/VA should be 460-470 from what others report.

I have set it twice since the mod but I think it is due to actualy low fuel rail pressure dut to lack of a lift pump. Both times it happened in excess of 100mph. Before I did the mod I would reset with the predator or shut it off for 30 seconds.

gotcha, thanks. now that I remember my predator never seemed to reset my speedometer correctly. It was always 4 or more mph slower than what the juice said or what those police trailers on the side of the road said. The fastest edge ever displayed with Predator was 113. Today it showed 118 and kicked off.
Here lately setting these codes, I get on it "semi-hard" and it's 1 or 2 minutes later during cruise speeds(normal driving) that I can FEEL the 1093 set. It almost feels like the allison downshifted.

Had the lift pump running today on a 200 mile round trip. I was beating on the truck pretty good and only thru one 1093. The ppe wound'nt read it and had to stop the truck for a bit. Come to think about it, my ppe hasen't read any of my stored EGR codes either. Hummmmm.

Is anyone running the PPE hot stacked with the Edge J/A?? How does it stack? I know the Edge hardly stacks well with anything...

We had better luck at the track with the VA/PPE stack :D

As a matter of fact I'm going to probably have to order another VA here shortly.

Do you think Edge will fix the picky stacking with others when they come out with the "HOT" Juice for the LLY? That's the only thing really with an all in one gauge setup that I'd want.

Likely not. They don't design their boxes to stack with others. They could care less about it IMO.

Our SC3 holds this stack just fine. We have approx 300 passes on Big Blue:D

I talked to a guy yesterdaythat said. He called edge last week and they told him there are not going to produce the hot for the lly. They were putting there attention to the LBZ. He could be full of S&*t maybe somebody will confirm.

on the 1093's, found out that everytime I set one which happens quite easily, cruise control will not work. don't know if this means anything or helps but figured I'd post just in case
