anyone know of a good brand of floor jack? i have had several over the years. i have had a couple of craftsman, a couple from advance and autozone. but none of them hold up more than a year or two. not sure if i am too hard on them or they just dont hold up. i dont use them everyday but they do get used. i need to get another one just dont want to have to buy another one next year.

I have a alltrade I got from sams club about 26 years ago and it finally crapped out.
Saw one at costco for $99 its a Arcan 3.5 ton and has some pretty good reviews.

Most so called "cheap" Jacks are made by Torin, my 99 dollar Craftsman 3ton is 3 years old and lifts my truck with ease. before that I used an OOOLD Craftsman, It crapped out I had it rebuilt and it wasn't the same.
Look inside main jack rail it will more then likely have the manufacture stamped inside of it.

I have a 3 ton Napa jack that works great. Expensive though, around $300.

Just got a Craftsman 3 ton. Hope it lasts! I had an old Torin 5 ton from the farm that was great until I left it outside the garage one night. Apparently someone else needed it more than I did.

20 yo 1.5 Walker floor jack in my shop. Made in USA and rebuildable but more expensive to rebuild than the current crop of imported 2 t units at various retailers
