I'm running the 85 rwhp tune --runs great, I'm about to try the 120 rwhp tune... Are most predator's out there ver 1.10 or 1.11 ? And if upgraded to 1.11 can anybody notice any real differences ? since it takes about 5-9 days turn around time to send the unit back to diablosport in fla.

The 1.11 ver fixed some ses lights and surge issues that some of us had with the 1.10 ver. If you don't have those issues I wouldn't bother sending it back.
FYI, the 120 tune will limp your stock tranny!

Yes SES=Dash board error codes. IIRC they where Over boost codes.
The surge was at about 1800 rpm. The truck would just take off like you floored the peddle, very hard to drive in traffic.

Cool, thanks.
I guess i'm ok--- not having any of those troubles...
I'll hold off doing upgrade for now...who knows maybe there will be a newer release down the road or a way to upgrade online.

The new update is just more than a light issue,Its a complete tune change. I had johan (diablo tune tech) Send me a 50hp tune w/the new update to my email, downloaded it to my predator and,WOW it runs better better defuels at shift points.Alot smoother accelaration, and lower egt's.
If anybody has the old rev send it in for the update.

I guess I'm lucky because I've been running the 120 tune for over 2 years and almost 65,000 miles and have yet to limp the Allison. Running Version 1.10b

never had a problenmm with the tranny and ive ran the 120hp alot (but they do say to not use it for daily driving) i would follow that rule
buti dont care for it as much as the 85 cause the power is more on the high end
i like the jerk when you lay on it
since you alredy have the 120 option on the programmer im not sure what they changed in the latest 2 version's, probally just some minor things
if anyone has a older version like the ones that topped out at the 85hp
i would send it in right away! that old programing is not good, alot was changed and for good reason.
but i would highly suggest sending it in
as soon as you get a chance
possible better milage
better power curves
and better all around to keep your engine safe
(i dont know all they might have done was changed a mispelled word, but i would still do it)
its worth a week of only 300hp and less than ten dollars to send it in. (for me at least)
and, i doubt they will be having any more updates for the lb7 maybe one more, but its alredy getting old :(
in human generations it would be the grandfather
of the dmax's
