That looks like a private drag strip . . . sort of ;)

Seems like LML set on Hot could go alot faster, it doesn't seem to break a sweat to 130 if you stomp on it at 100 it still takes off. If it had some extra gearing if could easily go faster, not that I would want to tho.

Looks good

You just roll into it at about 20mph or was that the "dead pedal" everyone talks about??

What your Egt's look like on a long run like that?

nice run man you need a lift pump on your truck and do a egr delete :thumb:

Iceman56

Anyone making a lift pump specifically for the LML yet??

As far as EGR delete I don't think Chad has set pricing on his yet, I have PM'd him a couple times for a price but keep getting the same answer.

Rick doesn't know if his will fit or not, He is looking for someone in his area with a LML

What was the rest of the run? 60' time? Truck still at full wieght I take it? With that mph seems like it could be low 13's?

My 60' was 1.9 and still had a halve full tank of diesel. The traction control system slowed me down alot

Did you boost on the line any?

It's safe to say that isn't 500RWHP then.

I beg to differ. Pretty good time for a full weight crew cab. I can easily see that truck dyno at around 500hp.

To the OP:
How many runs did you make?

Did the tires spin from the launch?

What were the track conditions?

Thanks for the feedback!

Please don't think I'm knocking you at all, I had a tuned 06 with a 8.0 1/8th mile time. I know what a 12 sec truck feels like, he should of been deep into the 13's IMO.

I'm getting an exhaust for mine in the next few weeks, then I'll hit the same 1/8th mile track and see what it runs in comparison to my LBZ did.

I made around 8 runs
The tires did spin if launched more than 1900rpms
The track was clear weather around 82 degrees
And it launched really good but it bogged down ever time it wants to go into 2nd gear its like a defeul but i feels more like traction control yes i did turn it off. And my fuel pressure never dropped stayed at 29psi

Are you at sea level ?? Were 3200 ft above sea level. I have friends with 06 and 07 dmaxs with big ppe tunes 180rwhp fuel pump egr blocked and lowered all the WAY and the best they ran is a 13.9 so there new once are faster with only just a 150hp tune. H&S DID A DAMN GOOD JOB! !!!!! wait until they do some transmission tuning and traction control delete i'll try it again than

Maybe around 600ft?

I'm going to assume that was in 4x4.

H&S, do you plan on working with the torque defuel?

I also beg to differ. Guy runs almost 100mph with a 8,000 pound truck on 20's with traction control issues, slow shifting tranny, bad 60' time, at 3,200ft, first time at the track with a simple canned tune and exhaust and your not impressed:confused:. I'm betting that motor is putting down pretty close to 500hp.

I would like to see what it could do at 6,700lbs (prolly close to what you LBZ wieghed) with some light 16" wheels, sea level and no traction control issues. Then add a lift pump EGR delete, down pipe, and intake

Iceman56

Now all we need is to get H&S to get rid of the traction control issues and some tranny tunning

mph is decent for a 7500 hundred lb truck i think there very close to 500hp mph is a good indication of power in the quarter ive seen lb7s run 12.80s and .90s at 102mph and only weigh 6500-6700 lbs

No, but ok... Trust me, I sure hope it is.

Anyone have EGR Deletes yet? Will the H&S take care of the codes?

Yeah I am just saying that truck had a lot against it its first time to the track. These new trucks are heavy.

Rick was telling me he was told that his LMM EGR kit would work for a LML but he wasn't sure if it would or not. Chad at Alligator has had one made but I don't think he has pricing or anything set for them yet, I have asked a couple times but can never get a price. The H&S will take care of the codes from what I have read.

I am impressed with the rate of acceleration after 90MPH

GM must have done a good job on the Aero Drag.
