I have been filling my truck up lately when it hits half a tank so it is not so painful to my wallet. I filled up with 13 gallons and drove a couple miles and then came to a stop light. My engine all of the sudden died. I restarted it and drove straight to walmart and put in Diesel Treatment. It hasn't died since and it drives just fine. This has never occurred before. Thought it might be water but doesn't seem to be and the Juice is working just fine..Anyone out there have something similar happen to them. I have driven about 70 miles since it happened..Jim

P.S. Filter is only 2 weeks old and only 100 miles or so..Jim

Yea, kinda. Last Friday.

I was in town at the hardware store and left the truck running. Left the store, went two short blocks to a traffic light to turn right. When light turned green I started to accelerate. Truck went about a foot (and up to about 1000 rpms) and died. Restarted and it did it again. Restarted once more, revved it up a couple of times to ensure it would go over 1000 rpms. Put it in drive and haven't had a problem out of it since.

Fuel tank was 3/4 full and filter has about 6000 miles on it.

I'm suspecting the Juice box got hot in the engine compartment while I had it idling in 98 degree heat for 10 minutes.

My truck was doing the same thing and was only doing it at idle. IT was throwing a engine code to replace the crankshaft position sensor. $100 bucks later and a real PITA to put on, it was stilll throwing it. Took out the juice out of curiousity and no problems. Called Edge and the admitted to having a problem with some of the boxes and shipped me a new one. No problems since. Hope this helps. Also if you call Edge and give the serial number and manufacture date of your box they can tell you if it is one that is potentially faulty.

I had this problem with my last Juice box version 4.6 and edge sent me a 4.81 in January. It has been fine since. The died at stop light hasnt' occurred again but if it does I will unplug the Juice and give them a call..Thanks..Jim
