I am new to the diesel world coming over from an 9.23 ls1 street car and wanna buld by truck up. It currently has arp head studs and aftermarket head gasket. it has an edge w/ attitude, ats co-pilot and 4 inch turbo back exhaust. I would like to build a mid 12 second truck. Any info on bolt ons or other mods would be appreciated. My injectors just went out and ordeded new ones (would stock ones be able to do this or do i need nozzles? and also debating between efi and ppe tuner thanks in advance for the advice:D

Built Trans, EFI Live, Liftpump(s) and strip it of some weight and you could see high 12's low 13's. More air (bigger charger) and more fuel (bigger injectors) will net you faster times but in order as I listed is the way it should be done for what goals your shooting for.

thanks and as for the trans is the ppe kit any good its on alligator preformance for 2495 with a converter and says good up to 850hp

Not sure about PPE trans kits but they do make good products I would check with mikeL on here or either go with suncoast JMO.

I'm pretty sure Mike L uses the same clutches that PPE uses, his trans are good for some power to. And then I think PPE uses his ML converter on most of their kits too? Someone with more knowledge may chime in and correct me though.

Well either way if you want to call mike he'll tell what is good and what isn't he the go to allison guru. Mike has helped me many of times.
