I have the Edge w/Attitude and Predator stack with the Predator set at 40 and the Edge at level 2. Worked great initially and the motor ran smooth with plenty of power. I've had it on for about four days now and on two different occasions, the motor started running rough, especially at idle. Changing power levels on the Edge didn't help. Last time this happened, I parked it and when I re-started it the next day, it ran smooth again. Today when this happened, it was 108 degrees outside. The engine temp according to the Edge was 194. I restarted it when it was still hot but it still ran rough. I disconnected the Edge and it ran smooth again, but then I got a check engine light. When I disconnected it, the Edge box (mounted on top of my fuse box) was too hot to touch. I think its getting too hot and screwing up the electronics inside. Anyone else have this problem or an idea of what could be going on? My tranny is still stock. The only reason I'm running this stack is for the speedo and odo correction the Predator provides. Any other suggestions as to how to set this up would also be welcome. Thanks in advance!
