I recently picked up a Predator v2 and am trying to learn how to operate it. It didn't have an owner's manual, so I downloaded one from Diablosport's web site. It isn't the exact manual for my model (my U7185 isn't available for download on the site, but one of their techs told me the one I downloaded is quite similar).

Here are my questions: I've heard there is a way to disable the EGR, but I can't find it anywhere in the manual. Or maybe I don't need to bother, since my truck is an FE9 and so far my EGR blocker plate hasn't triggerd the CEL.

Other question is, how do I use the Predator to read injector balance rates, and what numbers am I looking for? I can't find this in the manual, either.

I am not 100% positive on this, but this is what I know. I had a older preditor for my lly. version 2.00 I believe. it showed the balance rates under diagnostics somewhere. I had no problems finding it and did it several times. I did not have the egr shut off though. I believe you needed 2.05 to do that.
I didn't want to send my programer in and pay the money for it to be updated. So I sold it and got a new (used) version that is internet updateable. it is version vr9-- something. Newest update off their website. I believe it does not do the egr disable. got in trouble with the feds or something and it is not available on the new versions of the software. I tried to use the engine diagnostics and check the balance rates. I can pull up engine readouts like intake air temp and coolant temp, but I can not find the balance rates with the new one for some reason. :confused:
