I read on another site about adjustable turbo boost and fuel ratio(in cab) on the 6.5.Is this possible? If so how is it done?

Adjustable boost, yes, QM would be able to answer most of those questions.

Adjustable fuel in the cab for a 6.5? I think squishing a bannana into your heater vents will give you the same result?

Probably ole steak sauces site if I were to hazzard a guess, every body elses stuff is junk, he invented it all, under bumper IC's are bad-blah-blah-blah, if that is the site just say so,

Don't link it here, but in dash fuel contol does not work, takes TDC offset learn COMMAND or 40 count cycle learn for PCM to learn the new resistive value in FSD/PMD it can't be dialed in on the fly , variable boost isn't necessary, set & forget is all that it required, you can build a crude one like his for pennies by comparison, fixed resistor of correct value does same thing. Go there & get bad advise or stay here where we aren't trying to sell anything just helping each other out..

It would have a purpose in a gasoline vehicle, but not so much for a diesel.

My "In-Cab Adjustable Fuel Control" is my right foot!!):h

My "Adjustable Boost Control" came from Heath. Others have made their own (your mileage may vary, void where prohibited by law, offer not valid after 8/25/05, action figures sold separately, batteries not included, some assembly may be required, if rash/swelling/redness persists after 3 days discontinue use and consult a physician)

Sorry! I am just in one of those moods (it's Friday, ya know?)

If you guys believe in this stuff and stand behind it, then I have a Super Holley Double Nitrous pumper that is compatible with gas, diesel, and bull shCensoredt powered engines for sale. And I will sell it real real cheap.

Ok,so I should squish a banana in my heater vent for more fuel?I don't have a flux-capacitor like micheal J. fox did in back to the future. Are you sure the heater vent will do the trick? Will be going to grocery store to load up on bananas this weekend. Can any other fruit or veggie be used?

Banana\fuel trick does not work.So that leaves boost. How can I get a couple more pounds of boost?Read on this site a while back about using a 9k pot and\or resistors to dial in boost(can't find thread now)......................... Bye for now, sincerely the banana squisher.PS I will look for the site that sold adjustable fuel controller for 6.5.so everyone can have a good laugh.

Seriously, the guys here won't lead you astray. Check out Kennedy or Health's websites for stuff that works

Hey Cretan -

My apologies for the outburst above. It is Friday and I was feeling froggy!

Honestly though, there is much unspoken history with the guy that runs the website where you saw those products and MANY of the members here. From what I have read from "that guy" (not our guys here), whatever flak he gets, he deserves.

To sum it all up:

The in-cab adjustable fuel control is bogus, IMHO.

The adjustable boost controller does exist in two forms: Mechanical and Electronic. My recommendation for the mechanical controller is: http://www.heathdiesel.com/T/Chevy-GM/Chevy-9495/Turbocharger-Boost-Controllers/ My recommendation for the electronic controller is: http://www.kennedydiesel.com/detail.cfm?ID=44.

If you buy a chip for your truck, you do not need a separate boost control, as the extra boost is "built-in" to the programming. With the chip (of course) you will also get additional fuel...
