Got back from the tranny shop last week & now have the V/A on the top setting. I'm getting barking when under WOT on the 3-4 & sometimes the 2-3 shift. Transmission is definitely still learning. Will this go away as the tranny learns? Is there anything I can do to make this go away?

I can say the VA on Kill with either an ATS or Suncoast or stock trans does not bark after learning on our 2 trucks.

That's good news, did it bark while it was learning?

I don't remember. You might want to stack a tow tune into the PCM. Seems to run better stacked than stock.

No barking here either. I run the PPE or Predator tow tune and the VanAaken set to kill like McRat said.:cool:

I seem to be having an issue with my wallet also--it absolutely will not stay closed no matter what I do--should I try to customize an EGR blocker plate to fit over the opening?

Is that predator low/ Van Aaken Kill a good daily driver? I live in Las Vegas & when it's 110+ EGTs are a big concern.

For me the Tow Tune (PPE or Predator) + VA is a very good daily driver with excellent turbo response, moderate smoke, and killer top end. The freeway acceleration is stunning. Mileage is slightly better than stock ~1mpg.

The predator in tow tune and the VA on kill is the good tune??? Or can you run them both on kill?

You can run them both on KILL with a built trans, extra tires, a EPA waver for the smoke, and a GetOutOfJailFree card in your wallet. :D
