Which aftermarket brand exhaust is loud enough to "intimidate" the cars your passing without being annoyingly loud? If you have any sound clips please post them. I am looking to order a system in the next couple of weeks.

There are several hundred threads on exhaust, many with sound clips. The search feature will show you many of them. Also it would help to know if you have a lb7 or lly, because the exhausts sound quite a bit different. My straight piped lly is too quiet I think, the lb7s I have heard are a lot louder.

I like my banks 4" on the lly. It has a nice tone on freeway and towing something but when you stand on it, it is LOUD back by the exhaust but still not to loud in the cab.

I found the best exaust for the money is the summit exaust. it's turbo back, stainless, and only around $450. Sounds great.

I am curently looking at installing an add on to my stock that will exit a pipe off the front and will run the whole length back almost all of the way other than cutting off short by the spare tire. There it will have a spring loaded flap to open or close at RPM. Should work great for towing not to mention that the one that have been built are very reasonably quiet in comparison to other aftermarket exhaust although this is ran with your stock pipe. When you go to get on it the sound is very healthy like a small-block almost.
