I purchaseed a trippin mount for the over head console. The gauges are ultralite pyro and boost. is there enough length or do I need to get somemore wire? Is there a reason why everyone is running it to the drivers side, then back over to passenger side? Also can I use one of the overhead switches for my high idle?

There is enough length as long as you go down the passenger side. There isn't enough if you go down the drivers side. You could use one of the switches for high idle if you like but I recommend hooking the high idle to the brake switch instead. Then you don't need a switch at all.

is there an obvious hole on the pass side firewall or drill a new hole?

I just asking since most of the write up's show using the drivers side. Does the glovebox need to be removed or anything else really in the way?

Just the hush panel underneath needs to be removed. The glove box and everything can stay in place.
