Is anybody else's plastic on their front bumber starting to shrink and pull away from the front tire area? Would they replace that under warranty? I'm under 36'000

Right side of mine started to pull away right after I bought it but haven't asked the dealer about it yet. I'd also like to know if anyone has...

GM should do away with the plastic cr*p and put real steel bumbers on the front. how hard would that be? They used to be desent.
My 03 cover shrank and it was only on the truck for a month befor i took it off for a Buckstop replacement. The buckstop has not shrunk yet.:D

How much is shrinkage and how much is dirt and crap behind the plastic pushing it out.
On my 03 and 04 Chevys they both did it, blow it out w/ powerwasher and it was ok.
My GMC doesn't have that problem.

My truck does not see any muddin action mostly highway and a acasional dusty dirt road so I think it is all shrinkage

I thought mine was the only one, but after looking around, it seems like all the chevy's I've seen have the bumper plastic pulling away. Haven't asked the dealer yet if they will replace under warranty, but I doubt it would be a permanent fix, new one would probably just pull away in a few months.
