: EGR delete and Tune...

Well picked my first diesel rig and have done quite a bit of reading but have two questions.....

I want to delete my EGR, no block off.... Only reason for the delete vs. the blocker is I just don't want that junk in there, just personal opinion. I saw a delete kit that utilizes the factory pipe and uses blocker plate and don't like that idea much.

So what is a decent priced (won't lie cheapest route possible) delete pipe?

Next is a tuner..... EFILive DSP5 vs. Predator..... And

I have not intention to run this truck for it's quickest quarter mile and wont tow anything over 8500lbs. Just dicking around town and road trips and maybe half a dozen trips towing the travel trailer. I do need the tune to delete the EGR and calibrate my speedo....

So I am open to other options but this is what I've come up with so far.

Thanks in advance, and great forum you guys have here!!!

Cheapest delete I've seen.

EFI Live vs. Predator... Personal preference.

That is the one I did not want to go with as per people saying that the seals/orings blow out and the flange breaking due to lack of support.....

Thanks for the input though.

I've had EFI Live and the Predator. Definitely voting for EFI Live.

Since this thread is primarily tuner based now I've moved it to second gen electronics.
