Installed my Dsp5 w/ Edge CTS for a switch, eliminated the kitty yesterday. WOW what a difference, quieter when pilot injection comes off and hammer the pedal and HOLY it goes, only played with levels 1-4....I dont wanna use level 5.....dont want to build a tranny. I may have gotten on it a bit too quick after trans relearn. It didn't seem tooooo happy under a harder go in level 4...trans wasn't use to it.....BUT alotta fun and nice power

Glad it went good for you. What kind of tunes did they put in your ECM?

3. Light tow tune with turbine brake
4. Sport economy tune

That's pretty much what I want when I place my order. A simple tune will do wonders for these trucks

I've read a little about this set up, but still have a question... Is this just plug-n-play? Or do you still have to wire in the DSP5 switch then plug it into the CTS?

With an LLY the CTS is the DSP5. No aux switch is needed

How do you like having the CTS versus just a DSP5 switch?
Any chance you could post some pics of the CTS installed and running?

Who made the tunes?
See here:

Idahorob will do a great job for you as well though.
Either way it will definately be better than your current setup.

Not wanting to spend more than i have to i am using duramaxtuner instaed.

I didn't know Rob was selling tunes that way, but I was already sold on going with Duramaxtuner because it's completely turnkey for the novice and gives you a great bang for the buck. I don't have time to learn EFI programming so the prepackaged deal definately works best for me. In any case, can't wait to see how the truck performs after I get it all installed. :D Just need to come up with a good mount for under the dashboard.
