Has anyone heard of a single rear wheel 1 ton rated Chev D-Max truck. If so, what are the advantages and drawbacks? I would like to have more weight capacity without the extra width of duellys and parking problems when not towing.

They are only available in Long Bed configs last I checked.

They are rated at 9900lb GVWR, have bigger tires, more leafs in the back, and cool 3500 Badging.

I had a GMC 2500HD extended cab and traded for a 3500 SRW.

Larger tires, heavier rear springs - I think the breaks and axle are the same
