Hey guys, new to the site! Just wanted to ask a question. I have a 2500HD Duramax, that i upgraded with an EDGE w/ attitude, 4" MBRP exhaust with CAT delete, and AFE stage 2. The truck was purchased in Texas and has federal emmisions sticker. The SES light has not come on at all after 1500 miles of driving with the mods. My question is, should i install the fingers stick and EGR block off plate anyway? will it help in performance? Any help would be much appreciated. Also, any way of making the trans shift firmer!! My trans sees alot of slippage with normal driving in tune 3 or tune 4 (drive and Race). How much to get the tranny upgraged? (ballpark)

IF your not getting codes, don't worry about the Stick.

You can put in the EGR blocker plate if you want it helps keep your engine cleaner by not letting the emissions go back into the engine to be reburnt.

where can you get the block off plate?

I second that, the plate/stick combo is a great addition to keep all the soot out of your engine.

Do a search for the EGR blocker plate.
