It would be nice if we could start a list of dealers that do a competent job on our diesels. :thumb:
And possibly another list of dealers to avoid like the plague!:thumbsdow

I realy need to bring this truck in to a dealer ,I now have a engine light on with no mods other than a mbrp 4 inch cat back exaust and 265/75/16 e load range revo's .the cat is as delivered and the truck has 2950 miles. can someone recomend a dealer in Phoenix that is good on the DMAX ? I bought it at Brown & Brown in Mesa but moved to the west side so it is now a 45 min trip with no traffic ,and there is always traffic when thier service dept is open.

I would recommend Brown & Brown in Mesa or Thorobred in Chandler, but they are both on the wrong side of town for you. Thorobred has several techs trained to do injectors and they do work on a lot of D-Max trucks.

I do not recommend Chapman, Tempe. In my experience on another truck, their Service Mgr was not commited to resolving difficult problems. Freeway Chevy, Chandler, is also owned by Chapman, but I do not know if they share the same attitude as their sister store toward resolving problems.

You might check out Courtesy Chey on Camelback and 12th Street. They have been around for ever. My father has had work done on a couple of gas powered Chevy trucks with good results. I do not know what their D-Max experience is. You can call the Service Mgr and ask about tech training, number of D-Max injectors replacement a month, etc. This should give you an idea if they have experience with the D-Max.

The old Lou Grubb store, now called Power Chevy is another possibility. It is owned by Auto Nation. I have heard mixed strories about their service over the years.

Midway Chevy is in the northwest valley. I do not trust their sales operation, so this would give me pause on going their for service.

Try a west side or mid town dealer (such as Courtesy), and if it doesn't work out, bite the bullet and do the drive to Brown and Brown, or Thorobred.

Sorry I could not be more specific for a westside dealer.

Good luck.

As long as you mean Brown & Brown on Main St, I agree.....they've always done me right, and a good job as well. The Brown & Brown on Power Rd. is worthless....Stay far, far away!

Yep, the Brown & Brown in Mesa. Both stores are owned by Auto Nation and share the same name, but are mangaged independently.

Courtesy fixed it they said it was a bad boost sensor.the also fixed the rear door wind leak and re flashed the truck with the latest flash.I'll have to go back and get the ac checked out ,they belive that is the clickling, ticking sound the truck has .they would have fixed the ac but I needed the truck this week end to tow the boat to lake Powell .They seam to be top notch in the service department .
