Ok I have the edge with attitude. Base edge, its not hot. I am wanting to get rid of the 95 mile per hour speed junk. What programmer will do this? If I go with a programmer, can I run the lowest setting hp wise and still be ok on the stock tranny?

Two tuners will allow top speed limiter removal.


The Quad Stealth Tuner and The Diablo Sports Predator.


Both offer tunes as well as custom features such as Tire recalibration as well.


If you want to Stack with the Juice in my opinion the Quadzilla will give you better performance.


The Predator will stack with the Juice as well, but will run quite a bit hotter EGT's.


The Predator also offer you a Scanner type tool with real time diagostics.


Both can reset codes, the Quad will reset tranny codes as well.


Both can be purchased thru Supporting Vendors here.


Stacking is not advised with a stock tranny and you will definately LIMP it with the Stacking.

Another thing to consider, the predator will only load on one computer. you can not unload it and sell it or install it in another vehicle. I'm 99% the Quad is movable.

Both offer stock tune with parameter modifications.


The Predator VIN# locks to the truck, Thanks for pointing that out.


So if you buy it, hope you like it because it cannot be used to tune another truck but can be used for Diagnostics.


The Quad will allow tuning on another truck only if the tuned truck is returned to STOCK first.

Thanks for the reply. I was wanting to get rid of the speed crap. Then when I do get a tranny upgrade, I would already have the programmer to stack with. I try to a little at a time, or what I can afford.

So, if you know someone with a used predator who no longer has the truck(wrecked), you could use their predator for diagnostics, tire calibration, speed/rev limiter removal? If so, I gotta dig up a phone number!

The Quad is the only one that will give you much more mph because it has the ability to raise the rpm's also. If you don't you can't go much faster than the 96 anyway.

The Predator can only be used for diagnostics once it it VIN# LOCKED. The parameters that allow you to raise the speed limiter and recalibrate for tires are VIN# LOCKED.


You may be able to send it into Diablo Sports and ask for it to be UN-LOCKED. I do now know if you will get lucky or not.

I ran my edge to 109mph the other night...

I have h2 tires and wheels..

If your tranny goes into limp mode can the Predator erase the codes? Or is the Quad the only one that can do that.


I would like to raise my top speed and have my speedo corrected for my tire size. I run the Edge 125hp so I will be keeping whatever programmer I buy on "0" power because I have the stock trans.


So in anyones opinion which one is better to buy if you already have the Juice?

The Predator can not reset the TCM .... Yes the Quadzilla tuner will tho ...
