Does the deep pan help drop the temps? I have one and am getting close to needing a tranny flush. How many quarts does a deep pan hold compared to a regular one? I have read different posts regarding the cooler being the most helpful but I have the pan in my possession now.

I have been thinking about getting the new cooler but funds right now are going else where.

IMO, no, it doesn't do much for temps but the extra capacity is nice. My temps didn't drop until I installed Mike L's cooler. I have a SC5 with PML deep pan.

I didnt notice one but it will seem to make temps more consistent and take out the peaks and valleys so to speak.
