I am about to upgrade from my 5x10 dump trailer. I am looking at a Bri mar 7x14 and 7x16 unit. Anyone have any experience with these 2 models?. Does one tow better than the other or are they about the same. Weight wise they are the same, just hate to buy one and find it sucks while towing and be out all that money?

Sorry, I do not have experience with those sizes. I have a Bri Mar 6x10 lp. Bri Mar is a good trailer. They are made in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if you would get a better price buying it there.

Actually the dealer i am getting it from is near pa and is the best price around. 7200 for the 14' and 7500 for the 16'. I was concerned cause nobody has the 16' in stock and tons of the 14's so i was wondering if there is something I should look out for with getting a 16'

I've never had the BriMars but have had several DandyDumps. In going from a 6x10 with tandem 3,500 axles to a 6x12 with tandem 6,000 the only 'bad' handling trait is that the heavier trailer will bounce you all over the road when it's empty. Lots nicer to pull when loaded though.
