LOL I was wondering if anyone has the part # for the raised hood on the new GMC 2500... Sux that mine didn't come with it! Also is it a direct bolt on I know a few of the silverado members have done it but any GMCs??? TheBac 08-23-2005, 03:55 PM GMC hasn't changed their look since 2003, when they changed the fog lights/front bumper. I don't think a GMC has EVER come with a dome hood, ala 01-02 and 05 Chevy's. If you want a domed hood on a GMC, you'd have to go aftermarket. CrazyDaze 08-23-2005, 04:25 PM Tom...you are 100% correct on that one! GMC hasn't had a sheet metal change since the GMT800 began build in 1999. All the changes to the GM front has been Grille/Bumper! They was never a raised or domed hood on the GMC out of the factory. GMC2500HD 08-25-2005, 10:04 PM There is a company out there that has a nice raised look hood for the GMC, I will see if I can find the link and post it sometime. I also know that in 2007 the GMC will get a new look for the hood and it is suppose to be compatible with the older model trucks.
