: Black or Clear Halo Light Housing?
DINO ONE 08-23-2005, 02:43 PM Well I got some extra cash so I'm going to buy some of those projector/halo lights. I have a summit white 05 D-Max and I was wondering if I should go with the clear or black housings. I already have smoked cab lights and 3rd brakelight but I just don't want them too look stupid so could you guys give me some help???

skii_bumm1 08-23-2005, 06:12 PM If you already have smoked lights, personally I would continue using smoked lights. That's just my opinion keep the same theme with the truck. Also where did you find those lights? I've been looking for those exact lights.

Denali02 08-23-2005, 07:39 PM i agree with skiibumm1
akdiesel 08-23-2005, 10:20 PM I think the smoke look better but against a white truck the clear may look more appropriate.
I personly don't understand why everyone needs to get rid of perfectly fine marker lights and put clearones on. On some vehicles with the clear it seems to stand out more than stock and I thought the reason for this change was to make it look more stealth.
05LLY2500HD 08-23-2005, 11:17 PM smoked, man those are nice I want some smoked ones for Chevy, where did you find them???????
DuckhunterInTN 08-24-2005, 09:28 AM If all of the other lenses are smoked then I would continue with the theme. Be sure and post pics when you get them.
DINO ONE 08-24-2005, 01:58 PM Thanks guys I order the smoked set today! I got a few other things I have to get on then I'll post some pics up!!!:ro) :ro) :ro)
I found the lights on Ebay!
DuckhunterInTN 08-24-2005, 02:12 PM Did you order a headlight and corner combo?
DINO ONE 08-24-2005, 03:35 PM Yes I did. I think it would look stupid with one and not the other...
Did you order a headlight and corner combo?
DuckhunterInTN 08-24-2005, 04:06 PM Yeah, I agree. I just didn't know if you were able to find a combo on ebay. Or you purchased them in two different auctions. I have always only been able to find them separately. Do you mind posting a link to a similar auction?
DINO ONE 08-24-2005, 04:45 PM No Prob here is one:

Funny Juice,
But after three years with the same headlight style, you would think that someone would have made halo with HID lights for the Chevy.
