I see that CarParts.com lists these on their website as replacement injectors for the 6.5. They are listed as a Standard Motor Parts number FJ173. When I go to SMP's website, the description says: "Bosch, Orange Injector". Are these rebuilds by Bosch? CarParts.com does not list a core charge, so are these actually new? They are listed, essentially, for all 6.5 diesels.
Thanks for your help...:)

Bosch uses plastic rings to identify different 6.5 injectors, orange rings are for the turbo's, white rings are for the N/A and I think purple is for 6.2s etc...

John Deere...No seriously, I don't know, I don't handle injectors that much, I know for sure that orange is turbo and I've never seen green ones.

I bought them from a guy on ebay, they were supposed to to 6.2 injectors... They have a higher nozzel number (2xx instead of 256 or so) so I didn't really know what they were...

I don't know about green rings, but the "green cap" injectors are "rebuilt" Delphi units that are actually new and are available from Napa (at least)...

Oh, green caps, thats totally different than green rings. Green caps are supposed to be on brand new Lucas/Delphi injectors.

The ones I'm talking about are green rings around the injector body.
