I did a search on this but could not find any answers. My edge/attitude will arrive today, which I can't wait for. After I install it, can I just get crazy, or do I have to let the engine and tranny "learn" the newfound power? According to edge, there are certain parameters that are already preset at the factory such as the max egt and a couple others that I forgot. Should I adjust them or leave it that way? Also, as for the egt probe, if I need to take the truck to the dealer for work, can I remove the probe and cap it or is it ok to leave the probe and monitor in and just remove the box? I guess I could always tell the dealer that I bought the monitor just for the egt, but I don't know how that might go over. Any thoughts? jerry.
