I've never been a big fan of vinyl stickers, so last night I took the 4X4 stickers off. Just used a blow dryer to heat them up and they came off extremely easy. It took a total of about 20 min to do both sides. I didn't even have to use an adhesive remover. Just wiped it down with a clean towel and you could never tell they were there. I just thought I would post this for those who were interested in doing this, but had reservations about it being a mess.

Make sure to wax the area afterward.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that part. I waxed it with banana juice(Zymol) after.

I took mine off on a hot sunny day, They pealed right off. What an improvment!

Got everything off except for DuraMaxDiesel emblem on the door......thinking they might go also.

BDAWG. I remember those cartoons in your avatar from when I was a kid. Had a couple of tshirts with those on them. I thought there was a name for those? "No bucks, No Buck Rogers" - Fred Ward as Gus Grissom in the Right Stuff, right?

Given how much I paid for those emblems (4x4, duramax, SLT) why get rid of them? :eek:

The duramax emblems are keepers. I don't like the 4x4 stickers either, and removed them from gasser (since I had 265 AT's and could tell it was 4x4). I've kept them on my dually for now since w/o them, it would like a 2wd. Need a nice chrome or billet 4x4 emblem to replace those ugly stickers.

I did pull all the tailgate emblems.

Agreed. That's one thing Dodge got right. Smaller chrome 4X4 instead of huge plastic one.

go it form the shop who installed my lift. you can get them from performanceproducts.com too. lthe pic doesnt do it justice. i don't see too many of them. long story but i have two speed grilles and selling one. PM me if you're interested. If you want a better pic I can send it to you via email.

Id give you mine but they cracked when i took em off

I would just do it on a hot day, or use a hair dryer, then get some high strength fishing line and try to get it behind them. and then I grabbed em with a plier when i could and pulled em off

And here I sit with my take-off badges in hand ready to stuff them in a box for you... and Chevy FORGOT TO PUT THE FREAKING CHEVROLET BADGE ON THE TAILGATE!!!!

I noticed it when I debadged, but forgot about it until just now.

I've seen trucks with CHEV on the left and SILVERADO on the right, the other way around, and now mine, with only SILVERADO.

Oh well... mine doesn't even say "LT" anymore :D
