Took my truck to the dealer to have a couple things fixed, along with an oil change and the update for the fuel filter in the DIC. It took a while for them to find the update, but they did. The funny thing I noticed was when I took off, the truck seemed to have a little more power. I guess the best way to describe it was it seemed to accelerate better, where as before it seemed a lot slower off the line. The dealer said they updated the program and updated the ECM. I have heard better fuel economy with fresh oil, but I can't imagine this would cause it. Is it just me, or is there some truth to the update? I have about 7400 mile or her right now. Jerry.

I don't think they changed the fuel filter, but I forgot to ask.
