It's a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 with the 4L60E Auto trans.
He is the problem...1st to 2nd upshift is a little soft but works well...no upshift from 2nd to 3rd and I have to assume there is no upshift for 3rd to 4th...I can't get there. Reverse seems just fine.
Things checked and/or changed so far...
Trans fluid level is good and fluid smelled good (not burned).
Changed filter finding only minimal/typical deposits (for 100K miles) in pan and filter and added proper level...retried with no joy
Also changed these parts...both A & B shift solenoids, Force (EPC) Motor, Pulse Width Modulator (PWM)
Also dropped Valve Body which was found to be clean and clear of debris and obstructions. Reassembled added fluid and still not joy.I reassembled everything and the problem still persists.
Any ideas on what may be casuing this to happen?
