Ok guys if this thread needs to be move thats fine. I'm trying to figure out whats the best way to get the track adhesive out from in the fender wells on the rear of the truck. I'd like to know what cleaner works best for removal of that rubbery substance but want harm the paint? Thanks in advance

wd-40 works terrific, or gasoline also works. let the wd40 soak for awhile though. my malibu used to get so packed full i would just have to pull the slicks and scrape it out with a putty knife. alot of patience will go a long way too. good luck

For smaller pieces baking soda works great as a bug, tar, and track adhesive remover without hurting the paint. Take a damp to wet rag and pour some on then rub it on a wet area you are cleaning.
