Is anyone else having problems? every time I turn it up to half way or more, when at wide open the truck starts cutting out & says change fuel filter. I changed it the first time I thought I might of needed it.I have 7000 miles. then i turned it up half way and did the same thing. Not to please with this chip.

I would say you must either need a lift pump or the FPRV is popping open. Anyone else have trouble with the FPRV on the new fuel systems?? Do they even have a FPRV? Where is it, can it be shimmed like the others?

Well today i was driving it at 50% got in to it the engine light came on.So i took it to auto zone they plugged it up the code was something to do with the fuel rail sensor.Had to beg them to clear it. I drove it around after he cleared it with the chip off and no engine light thank god.So far nothing but problems with this chip.

I don't see any posts related to this. Call TS and see what's up.

I had a TS box for my 4900 International dumptruck with a 466E engine and had nothing but trouble.

I am not bad mouthing TS, I am just stating the facts.

Good Luck!

Maybe ask for a refund and call H&S. There are a few guys with over 5,000 miles on with power added and emissions gone with no problems at all.

Get your money back and call H&S. If you want to try the bullydog tuner let me know you can try mine. It's hands down better that ts or just get the H&S if you want the best.

I am going to call them and get the h&s for sure. After puting a chip on that is one light you dont want to see (check engine).

Too bad they are having trouble. Their website claims that it's undetectable. Can anyone confirm that? It would be pretty nice once they get it working right to tune my truck and still retain the warranty.

I don't know how it would be undetectable, could the dealer go in and see that the rail pressure has been spiked?

I don't really see how it could be either but it'd be great if it is.

Is someone brave enough to try it? I am going to call them tomorrow to see how it works. Thoroughbred Diesel has them for $347.49.

I would hold off, no good reports on it so far.

Well I will be the brave one. Ordered the TS yesterday through Thoroughbred Diesel. I only wanted 100 extra HP anyway and it is cheap ($347.49). If I don't like it I will return it.

Installed mine last Saturday and I keep it turned all the way up. Have put 700 miles on it this week. No problems.

Mabe be i had a bad one.If your get it in it with it all the way up ,does it hang up in gear or like defuels from 3rd to 4th? When mine did that it said to change fuel filter.

Glad to hear it's working for you. Any idea if the dealer can detect it or not like they claim?

I called TS Performance and they said it is undectable. Maybe because it inly raises the fuel rail pressure. I am happy with it so far.

How much does it raise fuel pressure? I read on their website that it raises fuel pressure to 26,000. IIRC the lml is already at 29,000.

One number must be wrong. I do feel a performance difference.

Really these boxes should be lowering the computer's interpretation of the rail pressure. By doing so the computer will open the injectors for longer (injector duration is based upon pressure and fuel mass), thus providing more fuel / HP. So the computer may see pressure as 29,000, but actual is more like 31,000. These numbers are guestimates, I have never monitored a truck with a pressure box installed.

I dont know if the computer stores peak rail pressure or not, Im not a GM tech but I believe it can store things like max timing or boost thats how a freind of mine got nailed on his truck! He had it towed to a dealer with a cracked piston and they called for a printout of all the computer history the boost was too high and so was the timing and voila warranty gone!! Dont take this the wrong way Im not claiming u should be able to mod your truck and retain warranty but Ive modded the hell out of every one Ive had and never had a warranty issue but anymore its getting risky.

Not to get off topic but is the computer history/data log stored on the ECM with the LML? I know these trucks are all new with a new era of computers...

this ecm is suppose to store and any parameter that is out of set range in its freeze frame data but i've yet to see mine work i know mine doesn't cause when i was in there last he didn't have the latest can id software was from 2010 so maybe thats part of it he could only watch parameter live and record but not look at history.
