Has anyone had experience with both PPE and EFI Live by duramaxtuner?

I have narrowed it down to the 2. I have an 05 LLY Dually and have stock trans, turbo....only mods are Egr blocker, Pcv reroute and Afe mouth piece, and larger tires

I am after a light tune due to towing approx 5000-8000lbs and tire size change

I like the ides of PPE due to the fact that it has Diagnostic capablilties.

If going Duramax tuner I was going to go with the 2 tune ecm, 50hp tow with turbine braking and 90hp sport. http://duramaxtuner.com/stock-trans-dsp2-ecm

Any ides or recommendations on the 2 ?

Iv used both, and by far, duramax tuner is the best out there. I have opt stock/50hp turbo brake(which is wonderful tool to have, works great)/385rwhp/425rwhp/lope and smoke. Ppe sux compared to nick. I vote for nick. ;). Do the right thing first and get dsp5 from nick.

Tuned ECM by Duramaxtuner.....I wish I had gone that route.
You'll want to look at getting EGT gauge also.
Something to consider, The Edge Insight can monitor many differant engine performance parameters (EGT, Boost, Turbo vane position, read and clear codes, etc) and can also be set up to switch your tunes on the pretuned ECM. That is a sweet combination

I assume the dsp2 is the same tunes...only 2 tunes vs 5 on the dsp5?

I dont think I need all the other tunes......I dont want to break anything....lol

If you have them you are tempted to use them...self control is a hard thing to master

Well I just bit the bullet and ordered the DSP5 ecm with the Edge Cts moniter and EGT probe from Duramaxtuner. Cant wait to see how it works
