I have a friend that wants to sponsor my pulling truck but neither of us know what a fair price is. He owns Amped Image and does screen printing, decals, etc. so he would make his own decals for the truck. I thought of 3 possibilities for decal location- front fenders, crew cab windows, or bed sides. He liked the idea of a larger decal on the bed sides. So, how much do I charge him? Any feedback is appreciated. Post here or PM if you want. Thanks!

A race car fender cost $600 for me to sponsor.

If he's your friend who says there needs to be a cost behind it, it could be just a friendly agreement!!

Good point, but I do a lot of business with him for shirts, decals, etc. so I would just be getting some of my money back! :)
I will surely give him a good price but I don't know what a standard price is to base it off of. Thanks for your good input, more ideas are appreciated!

It's usually more cost effective for your sponsor to give you merchandise than it is for them to give you cash. I found it a lot easier to get fuel and stuff like that for the truck than it was to get cash. If you do business with him for shirts and stuff maybe work that into the deal.

Well first off if he gives u cash he has to claim it, by showing where the cash came from and where it's going, but if he gives u "stuff" what ever that may be as long as it pertains to his business he can wright that off as a business expense or he can say the stuff was donated and he can get a huge tax wright off for that way, too it's all legit was of doing it there the loop hole in the system

Good ideas, thanks! I talked with him and he is going to pay my entry fees. That way he only pays for the advertising that I do for him. The more pulls I go to, the better for both of us. I like the idea of paying in stuff and I'm sure he'll like that too. I still get my money's worth and he gets a little more because he has a profit margin on the shirts, decals, etc. Thanks again for the feedback!
