Banks took a dump and I have a Superchips Flashpaq and a Hypertech Econ in the garage. Which one is better? Truck is used mainly for towing a 10,000lb toyhauler and taking the bikes to the trails.
Thanks

Hard to say but since you have both run one of them and see how it does on 4 or 5 tanks on one setting and change to another setting or different tuner and compare. Let us know how they compare would be a nice write up here for others to look at.

superchips over hyperjunk.....or sell both an run a predator.....there real cheap and i like towing with the predator more then my past ppe or edge....

Agree with hard2kill the predator is way cheap so you could sell the other two and buy a predator and come out ahead in all ways. Predator will really wake your truck up compared to hypertech sure did on mine anyways.

I have a superchips tuner and use the performance-tow setting for towing and daily driving. Seems to work very well. I have limped my truck with the performance setting so I would be cautious if you have a stock tranny.

The one good thing about hypertech is that you don't hear of many people limping their trans.

I'm thinking of going with hypertech for that very reason.

I have the hypertech for the tranny reason.

Our tuning is tranny safe, we test thoroughly before we release the product. We similate towing conditions with our dyno through load tests. You wont have problems towing on stage 2 or 3 with what the manufacturer says you can tow factory. You also dont need a pyrometer, but alot of people run them anyway.
