Ok folks,

nothing bad here, just need a little help. A friendly member here has offered assistance/guidance in setting up a web site for the VR Straps(read he knows html code better than I do). http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Although most have only had them for a short time, I'd like some feedback style info. Like WanaDmxsub, you've got a great picture/angle of the straps, but I'd need your permission to use the photo. I'd also like people to submit some photos(at your leisure) of the straps installed if you would be so kind(along with your permissions of course to use them as online ad's). Photo's can be sent to the e-mail link at the bottom of the page.

A little creative writing, maybe a few testimonials and a little page can be slapped together.

Thanks in advance for any help.Edited by: Victory Red

I'd be glad to help, but it's gonna have to get above freezing so I can wash the dang truck!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif Perhaps I can take some photos in February in Florida with some sunshine, rum drinks, palm trees and bikini-clad babes showing the "capacity" of my new VR Straps!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

A truck is SUPPOSED to look like a truck sometimes, so you really shouldn't have to wash it first.

But that bikini babe idea is an interesting concept. Wonder if I could get any hot ladies to pose on my truck if I told them the pics would get international attention? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

Well, it sure "looks like a truck" right now, covered in salt and grime!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

If I tried to get a bikini babe to pose on it today, she'd stick and I'd have to throw a bucket of warm water on her to get her off!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

If she's stuck to it, then doesn't she become an accessory that stays with the truck?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

JEBar,

Well that much has hassle is not needed. A few click and ship electronically photos is all I need. No need for you or others that don't have the equipment to go to the hassle or expense of taking film photos. Besides, I haven't owned a scanner in years, http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

All it takes is a bucket of warm water to get her off?!?! That knowledge could have saved me a lot of sweat and energy over the years!!! But, I would not have had near as much fun!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif

I'll take some pics if you can wait until tomorrow. I'll even throw some weight on there...not a proof load, but some bags of grain.

Kart,

I'm no in major hurry, just putting out the call for a little assistance if you can. Holding a load would be even better, makes an excellent customer statement of confidence in the product.

I've only had them for a few weeks, but the peace of mind has been worth it. I have had the OEM straps fail unloading an ATV and when I replaced the current ones they were corroding. They quality of the VR Straps are excellent, I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Good job Rick!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs Up.gif

Took some pics, where do you want them? I've got one of me, my son, and 400 lbs of grain on the tailgate (total load about 675 lbs). No way in he!! I'd do this with OEM cables! No comments from the peanut gallery about the Old Man and his kid! And yes, I really am that ugly!Edited by: Kartattack

kart,

Nice pic except you can't see the straps LOL. In all honesty though, be careful. While I have faith in my product, I don't honestly know(nor do I wish anyone to truly test) how strong the mount points are where the VR Straps attach to.

I've seen reports of anywhere from 600# to 900#. None of which I've been able to verify.

These were created to keep people from being suprised by corroded cables snapping. That's the real beauty of stainless.

I have no doubts most everyone will use common sense(or is that uncommon sense in this day and age???) when loading heavy objects, but please always remember, when one weakness is eliminated another one can come to light.

Anyhow, off the soapbox, you can send(or anyone else) pictures to the e-mail link in the bottom of my signature. Thanks in advance.

Ugly is only relative to what you are compared with. For example, put a picture of me next to yours, and then you can say, "Hey, I guess I'm not really ugly after all!"http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif

It doesn't matter how ugly you are. It matters how fine the little woman is!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

LOL! I will say that when people would look at my wife and then look at me, they couldn't figure out what she was doing with me!

Back on topic, "Do not hesitate. Buy the straps today. They're that good."

Above all I'm glad you're happy with them. Than again, in all honesty it's a good feeling to know that finally i've done something that people not only want, but enjoy using.

So how bout some pics of that little filly of yours? Just kidding http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I am happy as a clam with them and you are free to use anything I've said or the pics I sent in your new venture. I don't know what you want for an endorsement 'sound bite', but I'll write up something this weekend.

Since I'm selling here, I'd like to put out a request to one of the Staff members to move this or other pertinent topics to the vendor form please.
