We have a fair coming up here in a couple months and I am looking at entering. I have done some reading on what to do to set a 2wd up for sled pulling and want to know what else everyone thinks i need to do that have experience with it. I saw a 2wd dually pull out the gate last year but i know he had dang near a perfect setup. Here is what I have heard.....
- turn the bars all the way down on the front, you want it as low as you can get it.
- lift the rear as much as possible
- bump stop on the rear after 4-5inches of downward travel
- traction bars
- 400lbs over the axles and 700 off the very back of the truck
- 15-25psi of air
I realize it all depends on track conditions and what not but for generic purposes i need to have an idea.
Thanks alot!
