It's an old thread but I came across it looking up stuff for 6.5 diesels on google. This person obviously has no clue to why he won in the first place, and then keeps bashing on the Duramax. Less power= more traction and more power= less traction when you compare two trucks that are similar in weight and tire size. The 6.5 couldn't break the wheels loose like the Duramax so this idiot is trying to say the Duramax is a POS???? How about you load both trucks up with about 2 yards of gravel and see which direction that 6.5 goes then. Sorry, I just hate that when the only thing something like that proves is who has more traction unless both vehicles are loaded up so they can't spin the wheels.

Schied's this coming weekend might put Ford back on the map. Watch out for a black Crew Cab dually from Iowa. I predict he'll be in or close to the top 10 at least. Believe it or not.

Its probably bbunting from thedieselstopped.com:). He does have a pretty hard running truck. The only problem is that it took BIG money to make it that way. We're talking almost all new aftermarket internals.

Slick - Yes, it's Brian Bunting. Yes, it cost a lot of dough to get it there, but it runs HARD. He put 40ft+ on us the other night, and we're no slouches. We (me and ISUDIESEL) run stock turbo and injectors, and no drugs. If we'd had perfect runs in Indy we might've made the top 25, and he passed our mark like we were gassers, on a hard, tacky track (that cost him a u-joint.)

I can't say for sure, everything else he owns is a GM except for this truck. I think it's because he knows it's an underdog is why he's doing it - I could be wrong though.
