I just got done installing the Snow Performance Water/Meth inject along with J Kennedy's lift pump.
I would have to say that the tank I used took some planning and altering, but I am happy with the results so far.
Don't grade the install on the look of the tank. It is hidden behind the plastic fender well.
I found another washer fluid tank at a junk yard for $15. It was even sitting in the bed of a wrecked Silverado with the pump and plugs still attached. I was expecting to have to tear into the engine bay to get one.
I had to cut about 1 quart or less off of the left side to allow for the wheel well to fit. I finally found some goop that would seal the two pieces together (Loctite Black Contact Adhiesive). Great stuff but a little runny at first. The reason I went with this tank set up was to allow for the tank to be above the pump as requested, to keep my bed clear, notification by the dash instrumentation to tell me when I am out of washer fluid, and for ease of filling.
The new tank does restrict some air flow, but I am thinking of a snorkle kit design to go to the grill.
I connected the new tank to my other washer fluid tank as well. I plumbed a line from the bottom of that tank to a T then to the pump.
I used stainless tubing for reliability and for appearance as well as an additional 140 micron filter housing that I can change the filter micron down to 15 if needed, but I don't plan on putting dirty fluid in the tanks and the kit only came with a filter mesh on the jets that seemed to be more open than the 140 micron I included.
I mounted the pump on the passenger inside frame rail opposite of the power steering pump.
I am using one .625 jet for going to an SD manifold now but are the rest of you using these water/ meth kits using two .625 jets? I have not really noticed much of a power increase, but I did notice a little cooler EGT's by about 100 deg.
I had my setting at 15 start and 22 full burst. After driving it I noticed that the LED light for the pump, kicked on at 13 psi boost. I did not notice any knocking that was mentioned if injected before 15 psi. I did notice that my black smoke has turned to a more grayish color.
After about 1/2 hour of driving with no load or trailer, just city driving and some throtle stomping I had about 1/2 quart left over. I did noly fill one tank(the new modified one) to about 3/4 full.
