I am wanting to get A tuner for my truck...but i have some questions about the minimaxx vs waiting for a PPE programmer.
1. After reading the forums, what do you have to do to install it? is it plug in to OBDII port and thats it? do you have to install a pyro?

2. do you really loose cruise control?

3. if you dont have an exhaust or DPF removed are their issues? who still has DPF and urea still installed? hows it work?

I would wait for a bit period. This transmission is different etc... So no one really knows how the added power etc will hold up. I would wait till all the players come to the table and really figure out this new Technology before spending the money. I really think some new stuff will be figured out aside from what H&S etc has done, and it might be worth the wait ;)

Why wouldn't you want to go ahead and take the emission crap out? Once you put the tuner on, the warranty is gone anyways. In for a penny, in for a pound.

I have about 300 miles on with the programmer on mild with all the emissions and have not had any issues. I don't hotrod it, but it has some power when you need it. It really wakes up the engine.
